Dolby and the Dolby Family celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Smithsonian’s latest permanent exhibit, “Entertainment Nation,” on December 8, 2022.
This exhibition, located in the new Ray and Dagmar Dolby Hall of American Culture, is the museum’s first ever dedicated exploration of entertainment history. It features a one-of-a-kind, experiential Dolby Atmos installation that immerses patrons in the exhibit, so they feel as if they are standing in the middle of a Star Wars intergalactic battle or witnessing the house from the Wizard of Oz fly over their heads
