On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Dolby hosted nearly 50 juniors from the Arts, Media & Entertainment Academy at Philip & Sala Burton Academic High School, part of the San Francisco Unified School District. This is the fifth year Dolby has held this event at our San Francisco headquarters. The goal of the event is to inspire the next generation of innovators in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Dolby volunteers provided insight into ways the students can translate their interest in media and storytelling into a career through hands-on activities, candid breakout sessions, panel conversations, a visit to Dolby’s state of the art cinema and lab demonstrations.
